Terms and Conditions

1. By placing an order with Wine Divine you are confirming that you are 18 or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

2. Whenever alcohol is delivered to the purchaser, it shall only be delivered to a residential address or business address. The receiver of the alcohol must be able to prove to the person delivering the alcohol that they are the resident or employee at the premises and must be inside the building or at the doorway of the business, house or flat.  Similarly anyone taking delivery of your order must be aged 18 or over.

3. When you pay Wine Divine for your order by credit or debit card via our PayPal account (online or via PayPal Electronic Invoice) you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card for the purpose of ordering wine.

4. We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfill for any reason. If your order is cancelled we will contact you to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.

5. Generally, orders will be delivered within 3 to 7 working days from receipt of order.

6. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates at time of order, but will try to notify you of approximate delivery day and time when order is processed.

7. If your order goes missing, or is damaged, between dispatch and delivery, we will send you a replacement order as soon as we can. If we are unable to dispatch replacement goods within 7 days we will offer you a full refund. For these purposes, delivery takes place when products are delivered to your delivery address or with someone else in accordance with your instructions.

8. For your own safety we reserve the right to contact your card issuer for the purposes of carrying out security checks.

9. We take your privacy very seriously and will only pass your details on to 3rd parties when necessary to fulfill your order i.e. warehouse operators, carriers etc.

10. Any promotions, discounts or vouchers are single use only and not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount or voucher unless otherwise stated.

11. Products offered by us are displayed on our website(s) in 'real time'. This is to say that any product may be withdrawn from offer without notice.

12. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your exact order, we will notify you immediately, and where possible offer an alternative, or your money back where this is not possible or acceptable to you.

13. If for any reason you do not enjoy the wine you have purchased from us, you may return the case for a refund provided only one bottle of a particular wine has been opened. We will arrange a collection and give you a refund. Carriage is not refundable.

14. All of our prices include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.   Our VAT Registration Number is GB 976 5681 59.  A VAT invoice will be sent to you via email or post, alternatively it will be delivered to you with your order.

15. When a credit or debit card is used for payment all forms of advertising and promotional literature dealing with the delivery service shall clearly and predominantly state that alcohol shall only be delivered to the person named on the credit or debit card, and that upon arrival at the premises if the person named on the card appears to be under the age of 25 years, they shall be required to show an approved form of identification prior to the alcohol being handed over. Failure to show the required form of identification shall result in the non-delivery of the alcohol and a refund in respect of that part of the order, which relates to alcohol only. Forms of approved identification that shall be accepted include: passport, driving licence with photograph or card with the “Pass” hologram embossed on it.
